REALITY'S INVISIBLE
A SPACE IN WHICH ALL BORDERS BETWEEN ART PRACTICES DISAPPEAR
SCREENING 20 Mai 2015 7PM - CENTRE GEORGES POMPIDOU, PARIS
REALITY'S INVISIBLE (1972) IS THE GROUNDBREAKING FILM BY ROBERT E FULTON III. BOB'S INFLUENCE ON EXPERMIMENTAL AVANTE GARDE DOCUMENTARY CINEMA CANNOT BE UNDERESTIMATED. THIS GENIUS FILMAKER HAS TAKEN THE ART OF FILM 'DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE' INTO A WORLD WITH IMAGERY REMNISCENT OF JAZZ IMPROVISATION.
In conjunction with a major exhibition of the works of renown architect Le Corbusier, celebrating his design of Harvard University's Carpenter Center for Visual Arts, Reality's Invisible was screened at Centre Georges Pompidou, in Paris, to an enthusiastic audience. For this theater presentation, the beautifully preserved Original Kodak Eco 1972 Optical Print was transferred in its native aspect ratio to a High Definition 1080-24p digital master, along with the magnetic soundtrack, using a Spirit Datacine at Fotokem Laboratory, Burbank, California.
